Interim Management and HR Management

As an interim manager and leadership consultant, I am an expert in leading and managing larger HR organizations in particularly challenging business situations.

As a HR Manager on a temporary basis, I help entrepreneurs, C-level executive teams and senior executives realign HR organizations and lead people and organizations with enthusiasm – with a special focus on the industry, technology and service sectors. My work for and with people is based on firm values and convictions that I independently exemplify with my own thinking and actions.

With my own company, I am also a certified Salesforce Partner. Due to very high customer satisfaction (NPS > 9.2), our company was awarded the OHANA Award by Salesforce in 2019 as a Scaling-Up Partner in EMEA.

Professional development

As a former general staff officer, I know the topics of leadership, people management, organizational development and multi-project management – especially in exceptionally critical situations – inside out.

Based on a degree in psychology, human resources, organizational sciences and philosophy, I have held numerous leadership positions.

In the process, I have been able to guide, inspire and motivate many different people in diverse organizational forms – often under divergent framework conditions.

As Director Human Capital & Strategic Projects, I led both the HR management of an IT group and its strategic project management. I had the opportunity to build the first social commerce platform for IT products in the German-speaking world with a young team of enthusiastic digital enthusiasts.

I have been working on a self-employed basis since 2012. Since then, I have taken on numerous interim and consulting mandates for larger organizations, corporate groups and companies. Thereby I realized among others

Realignment of HR organization & transformation management at chemical companies – incl. power of attorney – in 2020

Results

  • Planning and implementation according to scope, time & budget within 7 months – under corona conditions
  • Reorganization planning – incl. communication and training plan – together with cross-functional ad-hoc taskforce 
  • Transformation strategy as bottom-up approach together with top performers

Transition management for cloud-based enterprise CRM/ HR platform (2,000 users in 5 companies with > 100 branches) in 2019/ 2020

Personnel reorganization of a production plant – major international automotive group-TIER 1 – in 2019.

Results

  • Finalize multi-stage reconciliation of interests and social plan within a few days
  • Developing and agreeing a convincing change strategy together with management and works council/union
  • Develop and implement information and communication concepts for multi-stage voluntary program (severance pay, transfer company and early retirement for older employees) to avoid redundancies – also in close coordination with a lead employment agency due to the large catchment area
  • Implement volunteer program for approx. 15% of the core workforce with a savings effect of > 2 million EUR p.a.
  • Set-up and organization of Springer pool for up to 10% of Blue Color in close coordination with production management

Turnaround management – with focus on sales, service and product management – for international group of companies in the metal industry in 2016/ 2017 – incl. power of attorney

  • Successful turnaround for various sales areas within 18 months – incl. implementation of Salesforce platforms within 3 months – to stabilize sales and increase operating profit; thereby changing the corporate culture in the old economy area
  • Development of a variant configurator as the basis of a SMART Manfacturing Solution for digital integration of sales, product management and production
  • Preparation of protective shield proceedings for subsidiary – incl. acquisition of new restructuring consultants & change coaches

Multi-project management for re-auditing pharmaceutical production by FDA in 2013

Results

  • Organizational set-up of 180 projects with an individual duration of between 3 weeks and 4 months via the implementation of a SharePoint-based knowledge management platform.
